Joe'l is a 28 year old print model that has been modeling since 2005. She was born in Georgia but was raised in Ohio from the time she was 40 days old. Born 3 months early she was given 48 hours to live due to water pressure on her brain. Surviving all odds she remarkably pulled through and grew up to be what was thought a healthy baby. When she reached 18months old she was not walking or crawling. When brought to a specialist she was diagnosed with cerebral palsy and scoliosis. She was told she would never walk and the chance of her leading a normal life were slim. Once again she astonished doctors and took her first steps. They were extremely late in life but she was just happy to be walking. Surgery after surgery Joe'l made recoveries and worked hard and pushed herself to achieve her goal of a "normal" life. Through a lot of prayer and support Joe'l has become what she is today. She graduated high school and college with a degree in graphic design.
Although Joe'l is a model and beauty pageant title holder her greatest accomplishments in life other then over coming her obstacles with cerebral palsy and her battle with cancer would be giving birth to her two children
